After a series of successful joint projects between prominent UAE singer Hussein Al Jasmi and UAE poet Shaykhah Fatima Bint Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum known as “Ghayaheeb”, the due will be working together again for the song “Anany” (Selfish).

Yasmeen Al Jasmi

The organizing committee of the Cairo International Film Festival for Children’s Cinema in its 21 round has chosen to honor Egyptian actress Yasmeen Abd Al Aziz and comedian actor Ahmad Hilmi. The festival will be launched on March 23 until March 30 with the participation of 23 countries.

Janat

Moroccan singer Janat stated that she is always careful about paying due taxes to all concerts she holds in Egypt and any other country on time. Janat stressed that recent rumors about her avoiding paying her taxes and her ban from singing in Egypt are not true.

Khaled yousif

Prominent Egyptian director Khaled Yousif denied recent circulating rumors that he was assaulted by a gang on his way to meet with the Libyan Ambassador. Khaled was on his way to talk to the Ambassador about the destruction of the statue of the late Egyptian President Jamal Abd Al Naser in Libya.

Ghada and Rotana

Lebanese singer Fares Karam held a private performance at the wedding of Rotana, daughter of prominent Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Raziq, and police general Hamed Al Shayeb. The wedding was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo and was attended by a large number of stars, journalists, athletes and politicians.

Eman Al Bahr Darweesh and Shireen Abd Al Wahab

Egyptian singer Eman Al Bahr Darweesh, Head of the Egyptian Musician Union, refused any reconciliation with Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab. Eman stressed that Shireen must be prosecuted for insulting him publicly by making inappropriate statements.

Nelly Maqdasi

Lebanese singer Nelly Maqdasi is expected to sign a contract with a new production company, whose name was not revealed, to mark her return to the scene after a prolonged absence.

The singer has been preparing for producing a new album and has completed choosing and recording the songs she will include.

Nabila Obeid

Prominent Egyptian actress Nabila Obeid said she refuses to be considered a replacement for any actress in any project for the big screen or television, because it does not suit her prestigious history. She stressed that her nomination for the role in the sequel “Kayed Al Nisa” (Women’s Vengeance) was not as a replacement for Egyptian actress Summaya Al Khashab.

Yara

Lebanese singer Yara is currently working on her upcoming album and has already chosen most of the songs to include in it. The album is expected to be produced by the production company ‘Rotana’ marking their first cooperation together.

According to the London based Elaph, Yara has selected a number of songs in different dialects which she hopes to include in the album.

Yusra

Prominent Egyptian actress Yusra is currently filming the scenes of her new television drama “Sharbat Looz”, which is scheduled to be aired during the Ramadan season of this year and will mark her return to television drama after a couple years absence.
