Juba — A high level delegation from both the neighboring State of the Republic of Ethiopia and Djibouti arrived in Juba Wednesay to attend a technical framework for the construction of South Sudan oil pipelines through the two countries.

Canada Contributes U.S.$4.8 Million for WFP Logistics Hub Construction
Addis Ababa — The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) contributed more than 4.8 million US dollars to support the establishment of a humanitarian logistics hub and cargo in Djibouti by the World Food Program (WFP), WFP said.
According to a press release it sent to ENA on Friday, the logistics hub will enable WFP and the wider humanitarian community to store and transport humanitarian assistance for the region more efficiently and cost-effectively.

Statement By the IMF Mission At the Conclusion of Its Visit

Juba — President Salva Kiir Tuesday in his remark to the ambassadors said the decision of closing oil production countrywide was not a good decision but there was no better option left for the country.
This was his response to some critics.
Kiir said the country was pressed by Khartoum theft to the decision of closing down the oil production passing through their infrastructures.

Djibouti — Sailors from three nations assembled at the Djibouti National Navy Headquarters here, February 27 through 29, to discuss best practices for ensuring the sovereignty of the seas around the Horn of Africa.
This was the first time the Djiboutian Navy coordinated and executed an event of this type together with the American and French navies.
