KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: Police have arrested two Asians for bootlegging and seized from them 100 polyethylene bags filled with the locally-manufactures booze. The bootleggers were arrested on suspicion while driving in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. The booze and the suspects have been referred to the concerned authorities.

Missing Kuwaiti girl found having ‘fun’ with youths in Salmiya
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti girl in her late teens who was reported missing one week ago from the suburb of Mubarak Al-Kabeer, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily quoting security sources said police information revealed the teenager was having fun with some youths inside an apartment in Salmiya. The police reportedly set a trap for her and took her into custody as soon as she left the apartment.
Bangladeshi caught trying to enter with forged passport
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: Officers at the Kuwait International Airport recently foiled an attempt by a Bangladeshi man to enter Kuwait on forged passport, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the suspect was carrying the passport of a Sri Lankan man who had been deported from the country several years ago. The airport security sources said the Bangladeshi has been returned to the country of origin on the same aircraft.
8 Asian women, pimp held in Khaitan raid
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: Acting on information and armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, police raided a number of vice dens in Khaitan and arrested eight Asian women for indulging in illegal activities and a pimp and referred them to the authorities, reports Al-Rai daily.
Juvenile out in kidnap, rape charges
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: The Court of Appeals presided over by Judge Ibrahim Al-Obeid, upheld the verdict of the Court of First Instance which acquitted a juvenile from the charge of kidnapping a student with the intention to rape him. The court also cancelled the sentence of one-month imprisonment and fine of KD 50 against the juvenile and acquitted him of the charge of driving a vehicle without a driving license.
